About SDN 2 Sambik Bangkol

SDN 2 Sambik Bangkol Pop Up School is located in the Genggelang Sub-District of North Lombok. 12 teachers and 153 students attend this school. Altogether there are 6 classrooms at SDN 2 Sambik Bangkol Pop Up School, but only 3 of these classrooms were supported by Classroom of Hope and Pelita Foundation. The other 3 classrooms were built by the government. The Pop Up School was built on the same land as the original school which was destroyed by the earthquakes. The initial assessment to built a Pop Up School at this location took place in December 2018. The building commenced on Tuesday 5th February 2019. The building was finished on the 18th of February 2019 and classes began the very next day!
