About SDIQ Darul Musthafa
SDIQ Darul Musthafa Block School consists of three fully furnished classrooms fitted with lights, fans, and power points and fully furnished with desks and chairs, whiteboards, a filing cabinet, and a storage cupboard. The fourth classroom is being used as a staff room. Two new Block Toilets have also been built at the school to ensure improve sanitation standards and prevent hygiene related illnesses. This permanent structure provides a safe and motivating learning environment for the students and teachers. Parents will feel comfortable knowing that the Block School is earthquake-resistant, which will encourage them to allow their children to pursue education. The construction of the new building emphasises the importance of education to the whole community and provides an incentive for the children to complete their primary education.
"Rebuilding schools that were affected by the earthquake in Lombok in 2018 is an extraordinary thing. Rebuilding these schools using bricks from recycled plastic waste and making them a quality, environmentally friendly, safe and earthquake-resistant learning place is a miracle."
