About O'Romdeng Primary School
O Romdeng Primary School used to have 1 school building with 3 classrooms. The school was made out of wooden poles, a zinc roof and had a dirt floor, offering little protection from the extreme and harsh weather conditions. In partnership with Child’s Dream, we built a new school building with 4 fully furnished classrooms along with 3 toilets to provide students with a much better learning environment, as well as to improve the hygiene standards of the school.
Note: A solar charging station and water filter were initially built at this school but the community no longer needed them so they were moved to Keo Pich Primary School where a solar charging station and water filter were needed.
"A school building is not only providing access to a secure learning environment for children but also contributing to the long-term development of individuals and society."
