Corine gifted her 50th for education and the planet.

After directly supporting the construction of a new block home for a family affected by the earthquake in Lombok, Corine continued her generous contributions by dedicating her 50th birthday to our Block Schools program. Instead of receiving gifts, she encouraged her friends to donate towards building schools in Lombok using recycled plastic waste.

Megan and Matt joined several campaigns like the #BagWalkers movement and #ProjectLombok to raise awareness and funds for children’s education. They walked, cycled, and ran, raising much-needed funds to build a school and water facilities in Gitumba (Rwanda), a solar-powered school in O’Romdeng (Cambodia), and emergency pop-up schools in Lombok (Indonesia). She ran a half marathon in 2019 that raised $1,439.47 towards building classrooms for children in need. What a champ!

Nick and Giulia felt compelled to help the people on Lombok recover from the devastating earthquakes in 2018. They used the power of social media for good and raised $8,691.80 for education! Their amazing effort is linked to “Project Lombok”, a campaign led by Jackson in collaboration with Classroom of Hope that raised over $120,000 to build temporary schools for 1,160 children. Sam joined our 2016 #BagWalkers campaign and completely blew us away with his fundraising. Busking all around Perth (Australia) he played a unique instrument known as a Hand Pan or Hang Drum. Sam raised over $4000 for the #BagWalkers campaign that helped fund an elementary school in rural Rwanda. He used the power of music to inspire and spread awareness about the global education crisis. Kohen rode a bicycle across open ocean for education

In June 2018, Kohen became the first to ride a bicycle (Hydrobike) across the ocean from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island in Western Australia. This journey was 24km (3hrs and 24m)! Kohen is most proud that he spread awareness about the education crisis and raise $13,665! Kohen’s campaign is linked to the Ben Stokes Team who collectively raised over $100K to build 2 elementary schools in rural Cambodia. We’re honoured to be recipients of your campaign Kohen!

Tom ran solo across Bali for education

Tom attempted the first solo run across Bali in August 2017. Motivated by a desire to support 10 disadvantaged kids in northern Bali through 6 years of primary school, he raised $10,000 and ran 84km overnight coast-to-coast! Less than a year later, Tom Founded the Bali Hope Ultra and recruited 13 passionate runners to run across the island and raise over $80,000 for children’s education in Bali. Jason became a World Record holder when he ran for education

Jason became a two-time World Record holder when he ran for education. He completed a 21.1km half-marathon in Perth in record time (1 hour and 41 minutes) wearing budgie smugglers, armbands, a swim hat, and goggles! And also made World Record for the most funds raised ($14,383.46) for a half-marathon! Jason’s epic campaign is linked to the Ben Stokes Team of entrepreneurs who collectively raised over $100,000 for children’s education. Thank you, Jason, you’re amazing.

Alisoun & Friends are a team of friends from the UK including the ‘Acts of Kindness Collective’ who fundraised for education. They held auctions, raffles, sold beautiful candles and jewelry, skydived, and gave services to their clients in exchange for donations. Over $78,000 was raised by this wonderful group that transformed a rural community in Cambodia with a new primary school with 5 classrooms for 272 children! Amazing!!

Annabelle decided she wanted to raise funds for COH so she wrote a letter to two of her best friends and sister asking them if they wanted to help.
